Use the camera on the iPad for many purposes. Take pictures or videos of my students working.
Use the camera to let students record answers to their essay questions. The students like recording their answers instead of writing, plus it made grading for the teacher.
Use the Camera App to take pictures of 3 items in the room that are blue, made of wood, or begins with the letter “m.”
Videotape a classroom science experiment.
Use the Camera App to take daily photos of growing plants. Plant seeds in paper cups and record daily growth by taking a photo each day. Place each photo on a bulletin board.
Story prompt with your favorite face.
Use the PhotoBooth App to take pictures of each other. Create a wall display of the pictures. Create a QR code to place beside each photo.
Work in collaboration with other pupils to build their own characters then write a play script or dialogue between them.
Create their own images using Photo Booth techniques for settings eg alien/mysterious/thermal imaging etc as a stimulus for writing.
Build up a face in response to a character description, or build up an unusual or interesting face prior to writing a character description.
